Lesson 4: Pick a Land Trust Trustee

In the last lesson about Land Trusts I explained the difference between a standard Warranty Deed and a Deed to Trustee. You now know that to create a valid Land Trust you must use the proper deed format. You also know that title to the property held in a Land Trust is held strictly by the Trustee of the Land Trust and not the Beneficiary. The Beneficiary owns the Trust as a personal property interest.
